I'm posting this more as a complaint than a cry for help.
I don't want to put glow plugs in when it is 7 outside.
I don't want to drive the w108, there is salt everywhere due to local water main break.
I don't want to install a block heater it is too cold.
I also have some serious stomach flu
At least it is sleeping in my driveway.
So I guess the point of this whiney post is: do winterization before it turns single digits outside.

Oh come on now, I just changed out my alternator when it was in the 20s in my garage.

Also I recently put in one of those lower radiator hose coolant heaters and the old 240 starts much easier in cold weather.

See when it's 20 like today my car starts ok, but around 10 degrees it no longer wants to.
I'm also feeling much better so the block heater seems like less of a chore. At least the w108 is still safe from the salt, (for now).
