2007 eclass battery disconnected trunk locked

00 Mercedes Benz E430 Limp Mode
General Mercedes-BenzI cannot shift out of park unless I use manual shift override. Once I do the car goes into limp mode. I've done a trans pan and filter change. There was no fluid in the TCM but when I had it diagnosed the shop said there was no signal going to the TCM. Any advice???- 2
