Hello all, Ive noticed some weird symptoms here. Im hearing some sort of buzzing on the drivers side of my 560sec, mostly when engine is cold, and most consistently does it when braking and going over bumps. It sounds like a small motor buzzing either behind the dash or footwell. Ive also noticed that when Im driving say on the highway, some air does come through the side and top vents even when the AC/heater is off. Its annoying cause its usually cold air which is forcin me to constantly run my heater. Feels like air from outside coming in. Are these two annoyances related? Am I leaking vacuum? I read a post about the HVAC.... but dont have any experience messin with climate control stuff. Any help would be appreciated. I love my cars!

There is the little air sampling motor, that pulls air in through that tiny vent next to the dome light. The motor itself is situated beside the glovebox on my car, which is right hand drive. On mine its not really attached to anything. I tied it up recently as it started rattling against a vent tube over bumps. Perhaps yours is touching and thats causing the buzz? As for cold air, could be vacuum pod problem or stuck door in the system, which seems a bit complicated fi'm afraid, from what i read on here.
