Please can you fill out your profile. Where are you in the world?

And can you define your question a bit better?
Are you asking if you need to? Or asking where to find some?

Otherwise it's not a post many people will bother answering.

I have a pair of used but good condition camshafts, not sure what the specs are, they came off my M117.965.
K 08 and K 09 camshafts.

Will part for a reasonable price.

i think the 380Se cams will fit a larger engine like yours, and supposedly have better lift/duration, for a turbobuild atleast, might be worth looking into.

not something ive tried, but ive had people wanting to buy my 380SE engine purely for the cams.

Sure, if you're building a track car. If you want those cams to be streetable then you should follow StreekG's journey to get them running smooth. Lot's of effort.
Yeah, not the easiest journey. But It's almost ready. (thank god)

Streekg, did you have to use the Adjustable cam gear to get the idle correct? Or could I reuse the stock cam gears? I want more power, but I am looking for a mild street use experience, where the car is smooth at idle and less 65mph cruise speeds but WA HOOOO AT 3000+RPM?

I have adjustable cam gears installed also.
You can get the idle correct but you will also have an engine running very rich also.

If you are serious about Feind cams, the essential things you need to have a nice running car are.

Upgraded torque converter, i installed mine recently and the car became much more driveable, highly recommended.
Also a system like the FrankenCIS. Mine is almost installed. This allows for a very broad range of tuning and also laptop tuneable. Without this, or a complete EFI swap, you are extremely limited to tuning.

Looks like I am shelving the Cams thought until way later it's kinda above my comfort level for now and besides the Torque Converter is moot for me, I just embarked on attempting a Manual Transmission swap. Next it seems that it would be suitable to have an EFI system in place before attempting the Cam Swap, after all the last thing I want is a rich running car with out giving up what little MPG I have left. Besides the cost of everything involved is keeping me shy.

Just getting exhaust quotes is making me gulp hard this month. Pretty set on what I'm doing from headers to built in Xpipe magnaflow muffler to diff, but idk if I want the dual pipes to go in the stock location with a dual in dual out muffler at the end or pull a Streekg and go quad with single in dual out 3x7 mufflers and square slanted tips instead on each side
