Hmmm....I saw this a month or so ago and have been thinking since then how one would import from NZ...price is not too bad either once you translate to US$.

Price started out in the mid 40k range and has been steadely dropping but still no takers.
Car prices in NZ are at rock bottom and exotic euro stuff just isnt moving at any price.
I just brought my brother a really nice wide body twin cam 944 with koni adjustables and fuches wheels for $5k NZ (around half of what it would have realised a year ago)

Wanted to swap both my cars for it ... he was almost keen. :D. He cant sell it because people in this country are stupid.

Been to see the car in person, and have no idea why he is hanging on to it so badly, its not like he owns a mega car yard, he probably paid a shite load for it. No takers becuase its in the wopwops and its LHD.

I gotta be careful with my local colloquialisms. Seems some words here in the Good Old US of A have a completely different connotation down under.

Dual snorkel on a 5.0L was an AMG thing, wasn't it?

How far from picklesam is this? If it were me, it would certainly make me feel better about my loss.

yeah i've thought about it but i've already got a LHD SEC. I can buy it but then i wouldnt be able to drive it cos it's RHD here in Oz...not much point having 2 SECs i can't drive..

Surly given all the RHD conversions done in Aus and given how easy it would be to find a doner car for dash steering firewall etc it could be a viable undertaking.....

I'd wager its had a rear-end collision, either head-on or at one of the corners.

Don't ask me how, I just know by looking at it.
Im not affiliated with the seller and dont car about the car, but for my own interest/learning/ignorance I would have to ask how you could spot that.
