I see there is someone in Brisbane Ca selling a 380sl for 500$, I guess the guy ran it out of oil. It is on craigslist if anyone is interested. I might be able to buy it myself, but can't even deal with one benz that works.

Why the hell cant that be Brisbane, Australia. I am kinda looking for a SLC tho, but a nice SL to start pulling apart and getting ready to drop a M113 into would be just as good

1981 Mercedes SL Convertible Hard Top And Soft Top,Needs some body work,and needs some mechanical work,This car was a great runner and driver until I had the oil changed by Econo lube and tune at the corner of Fulton and Arden they put to much oil in it .It started smoking right away.I took it right back they drained about 5 extra quirts out and I was told by them to just drive it until it cleared up. they still were not sure how much oil it was supposed too take I took it to Sacramento Mercedes and had the oil re changed to make sure it was the right amount .I was told it probably filled up the cat with oil and just needed to be driven.It never did clean up Econo Lube and tune didn't own up to their mistake and the B A R would not do anything to help .Unless I payed to Have the engine taken apart and some one could prove this all started from the overfilling of oil from Econo Lube and tune.even though this car did not smoke before the oil change and was a very well maintained car before all that.I will never have my oil changed there again of course I tell ever one how I was treated.I hop there is some one WHO may know what went wrong and it is a easy fix for then it still is a nice car it still ran really great it just never stopped smoking I had every body mad at me when I drove it .I guess I should had a big sign put on it oil changed by Econo lube and tune and just keep driving it around and say this could happen to you just go get a oil change by unprofessional at the lube place econo lube tune at the corner of Arden and Fulton in Sacramento Ca..I have not had the money to fix it so if you want a little project it yours for $3,500. call me at (916)xxx-xxxx Thank you Michael.

That is why I do my oil changes, do you think an oil monkey is going to measure out 6.3qts or 6l whichever comes first?
