I purchased a 411 with the transmission shift plate and cover removed. The PO had removed almost everything on the truck he could unbolt to clean. I read the manual on installation but I am not getting the shift plate setting correct. Can somone please advise. Thanks

When I reinstalled the cover I just removed the PTO plate so I could see the fingers lining up with the collars.

I believe there is a preferred position for everything to be in according to the manual, but I did fine with eyeballing it together.

That is what I did and it will not shift and the forward/reverse lever will not move

Bet you're in the wrong gear you can only move the forward / reverse lever if you are in 1st / 2nd.
