I'm putting the heater back in after having the entire cooling system apart, cleaned and repaired. I'm putting the plastic duct pieces back in, and I think I'm missing a short piece of flexible ducting to connect the Y splitter that goes into the top of the heater box and the defrost duct... Does anyone have a good diagram, maybe even part numbers? I'm guessing I'll have to find some sort of alternative....

Some ducting I got on Mcmaster # 5501K61 for my passenger side vent worked but was apparently quite tasty to mice/rats. Should have known based on the name.
Economical Very flexible Duct Hose for Fumes part # 5501K61
PVC coated fiberglass go figure.

Do mice/rats like the taste of it SCAT or SKEET tubing?

If this tubing is that orange stuff, it's made of silicone, so I don't think critters will be after it

I used SKEET (the orange stuff smooth on the inside) on my truck. Aircraft Spruce is also where I got it, worked great does not crush easily at all. Way better than original in my opinion anyway...

Not to my knowledge. Thousands of planes sitting in barns, fields or otherwise mouse prone areas with few issues from what I gather. Considering you usually can’t pull the cowl on an airplane easily to check the tubing it has to be reliable.
