For some reason ever since I got my car back from the body shop (roof crushed by tree) the rear passenger side speakers have been making a popping noise but are still playing sound. The cd changer stopped working and when i shut the car off theres a very low hum coming out of the front speakers which I believe to be draining my battery it happens even if the key has been out for 5 minutes. I completely unplugged the radio and the noise is still there.

Also if I shut the car off even if the door is open and the key is out the radio can be turned on and off so there is still power going to the radio for some reason after the car is off.

Any idea what could be wrong??

the radio can function if it was turned on without a key in a ignition lock. so this is normal.

as for the buzzing noise: you must check all connections (wires). I had recently similar problem and even today I am not sure if the problem was in amplifier or in connections. So, take care that CD exchanger amplifier (if you have it) is far away from amp/tuner or amplifier (you did not defined which system do you have) as possible and that wires are not crossed. if the situation will not be ok, then you have to check amplifier(s), head unit ....everything which may be a source of troubles.
