Hi, new to the forum and have a question about a 400E oxygen sensor. I bought the bosch 13275 universal oxygen sensor and need to know how to splice the wiring. The new sensor has a black, gray, and 2 white wires. Black is the signal, gray the ground and the 2 whites the heater. Original sensor has black, brown, yellow and black with blue stripes wires. Does anyone know how these match up to the universal sensor?

Hello, I just replaced my oxygen sensor. I went through Autohausaz he. It's made by Bosch the OE of the sensor. And has the factory plug necessary to plug right in. In other words it's what I call plug-and-play.

^Correct. Just get the correct sensor that is prewired, which is Bosch 15058.

You got the wrong sensor, as the universal variant for your specific model is Bosch 15736

Amazon has the best prices on Bosch

There is a Denso direct fit replacement as well. I think I paid $75 for it from Rock Auto several years and miles ago.

Hi Jim hope all is well. My 400e seems to have a "pop" to it I haven't felt in the six years I've owned the car. Wondering if this is tied in with the code 26 issue we have talked about? My mechanic cleared the CE light and now waiting for 26 to light up again.
