Stick to the 93 or later ATE 4 piston front calipers, they take the wider ventilated rotors. Best to check with your local breaker yards. Used units can be found on eBay for under $180 for the front calipers.
Thanks for the info.I have just talked to a guy here locally ,he has got complete front for $500 Cdn(new)
and rear for $450 new as well(calipers+rotors+pads+sensors). Is that a good price?
In the 'States, EuropeanAutomotiveSpeacilists has 1993 400E rebuilt front left/right calipers for $123.96(includes the $35 core charge) per side. The 1993 400E front brake discs range from roughly $57/disc for regular discs to $111/disc for Zimmermann cross-drilled ones.

So thats: $248+$114= $362

Shipping would be the determining factor, since shipping to the Lower 48 'States is free if total is over $50.

Maybe one of your fellow countrymen know of better cheaper place in Canada.

That $500CDN isn't a bad price at all if it includes all new parts. Might want to think of stainless brakes lines aswell.
any good place for the s/s brake lines?

Go to www.2phast.com (he did the 400E brake converison)....he mentions a cheap place where he bought S/S brake lines. Or you can try www.slaccessories.com...they sell them for $75.
