I'm looking to purchase a 1985 380sl in Henderson, NV. The seller is too old to take it to a shop for a PPI to be done and would rather a mechanic come to his house.

Anyone know of any mb mechanics who would do a home PPI? Or anyone out near there familiar enough with this model that they'd be able to check it out for me?

My car came fro Las Vegas and the maintenance records show that it was serviced by European Motor cars, 3440 Spring Mountain Road. Of course that was many years ago when the car was only 20 years old I would guess they are still in business and might be a better bet than the official dealer. Hope this helps.

Just contacted them to see. If not I'll be using Motor Tech Appraisals.. (found them on the autotrader site).

Anyone have any experience with these folks?
