Has anyone had this problem before? After about 250 miles it will raise the level about 1/4 of an inch on dipstick. I have not started diagnosing it yet, just noticed it two weeks ago, and looking for a good starting point. The engine does not act like it is flooding and runs smooth with no noticeable smoke coming from tailpipe or rich smell. Any help would be appreciated!

I am no mechanic by any stretch, but when I smelled fuel on my dipstick, it turned out to be the Fuel Distributor....too much fuel going in...

Good luck,

John

thanks for replying, John. Did you have to replace it or can it be rebuilt?
