I spoke briefly to the vendor who's about 5 minutes from my house, and I don't think he's too swift. (Just a first impression.) I'll go over tomorrow to get a better idea of what exactly he's got to sell.

I get enough request for parts that I don't have listed on Ebay. I would hate to see how many request this car generated for beamer and Jag parts. We should all start responding with request for anything but 107 parts. Of course if you need 107 parts give him a call as well.

I just checked out this beauty for anyone interested.
The body is a bucket of rust, totally beyond redemption.
The interior is a study in mold and mildew growth.
The headlights are gone, as is the FI system.
There are some good switches, knobs, etc still available.
Also fairly decent are the front and rear bumpers, although the front one has the usual license plate bolt dents. The tail lights don't look too bad, with the drivers side showing a very small lens crack.
The wheels, although not my taste, look pretty decent.
The convertible top is serviceable, but obviously well used.
Battery box isn't too bad and the hold down brackets look OK, but bent out of shape.
I did not inspect the engine, tranny, diff, etc. but they are available.
Again, I take no responsibility for anything, do your due diligence.
Good luck! :)

I hate it when they toss all that into the listing, waste of time.
I flag 'em. They have no business trolling like that. If I searched on "beemer" and got a 380SL for my time I would be POd.
