Could be an idler pulley bearing. Use a rubber tube (or long screwdriver, etc) and get closer to different objects to try to narrow down where the noise is originating. May need to remove the belt to see if it comes from one of the belt driven devices.

What year is the car? With the M272, the tensioner and pulleys are well known to go all the time. I'd replace those first if 2010-2011 model. You could also just take off the belt and check for play in the pulleys/tensioner. I've replaced them with as little as 60k on the engine.

Well I think I found the culprit. My girl was driving the car and told me the car was hard to turn. I came and look at the car and saw the serpentine belt shredded. I looked at all the pulleys and one was chipped and broken and is hard to turn. I took a picture, can someone tell me which pulley this is called so I can purchase another one. Also would this be the reason the car was making that sound yesterday. Thanks!

I'd replace them both. It's not like they're that much money. If I were you, I'd just get the gates kit from Rockauto and replace the pulleys, tensioner and belt. If one pulley is worn out, it won't be long before the other one goes and it's well known that all three will cause problems at some point.
