Hi All,

The rear exhaust box is getting a bit flaky in places, so it's time to refinish it

As my car is black, i'm half tempted to re-finish it in high temp black paint but wondered, what was the original exhaust colour as they left the factory?

Black or silver?

matte or satin gray, aka "exhaust gray" was the colour of my original exhaust, not different from Bosal OEM replacement I got about 7 years ago.
A bit darker shade of gray compared to late cars exhaust paint.
