Can anyone tell me what the tire size is for a 1993 300SE?

We haven't got the car yet, but I already ordered a set of P225 60 R16's.

I just read on a website, however, that the size is P235 60 R16 . . .

Please let me know ASAP! Thanks!

Hi bdonkersgoed,
The standard factory size is 235x60xZR16
though the 225's may fit

I actually went and saw the car today so that I could get the actual tire size. It has P225 60 R16's on it. I believe they may still be the original tires (Pirelli P600).

TireRack.com says that the 300SE and S320 has the P225 60 R16 tires. When I checked any other S-Class (with bigger engines), then TireRack.com said that it uses P235 60 R16's . . . weird . . .

Does anyone know what brand of tires were originally put on the 300SE in 1993? I believe that the Pirelli P600's still on the car are the originals. The spare tire in the trunk is also a Pirelli P600 which leads me to this conclusion . . .
