Hello everyone,
I have a 1993 300e 4matic, and the transmission just broke

I was wondering,
I have searched and came up with some part numbers and i do realize that part numbers differ from regular 300e to 300e 4matic.

My question is, Im sure any 300e with a 3.0 engine could fit the same trans but maybe have a different ecu am i correct? Or would i have to purchase strictly a 4matic transmission.

Ill be happy with rear wheel drive only!

To clarify my question,

Would i be able to convert my 4matic to a rear wheel drive only?

if so what else would i need besides the trans and driveshaft?
