I have an 81 300D with HORRIBLE grinding and clunking noises out of the front end - car has 350,000 miles so I am sure every bushing etc is shot! I have found many sources with suspension products which is great - but does anyone know of a complete rebuild "kit" that a vendor has assembled as a one shot one price deal? It would be nice to just buy it all as one rather than piecemeal and hope I didn't leave something out. Or anyone have a recommendation on a vendor that I could call to work with me to put together this so called "kit"? I am new to Mercedes and this forum - any help is greatly appreciated ... thanks!

As far as I know MB is not making kits. My diesel has 6 small fuel tubings that sell in $4-7 range, but you have to order each one separately.
For parts shop around. You can find several Internet dealers, that sell for way less than your local stealer. Also lot of indy warehouses are doing over the counter sales, where you can actually see the part before paying for it. I am using one in my area for last couple of years and am very satisfy with prices and knowledge.
German Star and AutohousAZ are good general suppliers, but not always know what they are selling. Unless you talk to Ron, the GS chief that is ;)
