1981 300 turbo diesel, the paint is new but the driver door has since been damaged, also has euro headlamps. Car has many new suspension parts including shocks withing the past year, Interior is good condition but seats have seen better years. The Benz runs and drives but it keeps needing to be jump started not sure what the problem is there. Asking $1000 dollars OBO. Located in the Houston area will drive to buyer within 100 miles. May consider parting out. Will post pics later

I also do have the title and a lot of origanl stuff that came with the car such as the window sticker and 1st aid kit etc.

Welcome to the forum.

Wow what a steal! :) I wish I lived closer to check it out. I would suggest you test the alternator, you can do so for free at any local Advanced AutoParts or AutoZone store. It could be whats straining your battery. It could also be the regulator, which is only a $10-$20 part. Its a good idea to know the reasoning behind it needing a jump, so you can inform potential buyers. A new/refurbished alternator is around $100-$150. Either way it should be an inexpensive fix that you (or the buyer) can do themselves. I'm actually putting in a new alternator tomorrow. I just bought a 65amp alternator for $138 from Advanced AutoParts. The 123's require a 55amp or a 65amp. If you have power doors/seats, power windows/sunroof, a WVO kit, a serious sound system or anything else requiring a higher amount of electricity a 65amp alternator is recommended.

Goodluck! :)
