There was one offered on this Forum about 3 weeks ago. Do a search and you will find the offer. It had pins and I think it was $85.00. I think I remember someone indicated the 280SL (Euro) did not come with the trunk badge but I'm not sure. My 1977 280SL (Euro) did not come from Germany with one. No holes in the trunk either.

That is very interesting indeed. Mine is a Euro Mercedes . I want to keep it original. I will check it out further . There are no holes in my trunk either. That being said my car was a total insurance write off as it was hit from the back end very severly. It was bought by a large group of individuals who owned dozens of body shops. The owner of the body shop fell in love with this car and had it almost completely redone. I could go on an on. It is a bare bones car no power windows no a/c manual everything. He had to sell it as he had a major spinal injury and had limited use of his left side. Couldn`t use the clutch. He sold it to me for 10,000. 86000 original miles. Great car .
One last comment. It does not have the Euro bumpers.I am the 3rd owner.
