I need the radiator, oil cooler, trans cooler for a W108 250 S/SE. My doner car is a 1968 280 S and the cooling system is sized differently and isn't going to fit. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Already placed an wanted to buy ad in the classified section but the way that section moves it will be out of sight within a few hours...

Ever thought about buying an aftermarket cooler, for both the tranny and oil? You'd need to find or make mounts...

I guess it's an option, but it is not one that I know anything about. And given that I assume I can't drive the car until they are installed I figure that fitting them might be complicated.

Been going through this with my W111 Fintail 230s. I've sourced two cores that have both been bad. Might be better to bite the bullet and pay for the recore, it's only a couple hundred more than a core plus rod out and change the tanks for an auto.

I'm going to pic a part tomorrow and if by luck there's one there I'll let you know-

You have a Citroen !!!! I'm impressed!

The problem isn't with cores. I have a perfectly good and functional radiator with oil cooler and trans cooler out of the 280S. The problem is that it is a different size than that which came in a 250S. I don't have any 250S cores. As best as I can tell from EPC, the radiator and associated bits are unique to 250S/250SE which I think means 1967 W108 only. I've seen them before at the yards but it is not a common car to find... I assume when I do find one I will get it re-done at a radiator shop...

Thanks! The Citroen is great. Had it for a long time...

Yes, the cores are different from a 250S - i'll look for a 67 250S, sometimes you get lucky at the yard as you know. Seeing a lot less old Benzes these days, kinda sad.

That's the problem im having with my 230S fintail, only a 6 cyl fintail core is correct. A 108 won't work.

Do you need a 230S radiator? Might be one in Monrovia PAP... Can't remember. I saw a 250 SE about a month ago in Fontana or Rialto and got the badges off it (AUTOMATIC and 250SE). Didn't think I needed the parts though!
