I have a 04 E320 wagon. It has leveling rear suspension with air springs and conventional shocks. It is not airmatic!

I am looking to replace all four shocks, The problem is finding the rears. OEM part numbers do not match up with the sedans?

Anyone crossed this bridge before?

You can sign up for EPC net for free and look them up on MB's dedicated parts server.

Here is the part # 2113264100.
$127 apiece at parts.com
$177 apiece is list price.

I do have a subscription to EPC. Have looked up the sedan and the wagon rear shock part numbers and they are not the same for 065 & 265 models. I also checked the 4-matic and the part numbers for wagons and sedans are different.

Doe anyone know what the difference between the wagon & sedan rear shocks are?

The aftermarket companies often show the same part for rear shocks on wagons and sedans but I don’t know if they are or this is a logical assumption (mistake) in their catalogs.

I know the front shocks are the same.

I do not know the difference.

You can send your VIN to parts.com with the part you want and they can tell you the difference. Also MB of South Atlanta has a wholesale parts dept. You could call them and ask.
