Hello guys,
Hope I can find an answer here. Just purchase a 2019 Amg gtc and when the temp of the transmission reaches to 170 and up that transmission starts to jerk from n to r or from n to d. Keep in mind when the car is cold and I do t have that issue. Took the car to two different dealers and they telling me that it’s normal and they had checked everything but it feels like something is not right to me. Does anyone else have the same issue?

Thank you

Doesn't sound right to me. I think the S class from this era has had this problem, from reading here on the forum.

When you get time would be great if you could fill out your profile.

Awesome car, hope you can get it sorted.

Hi I think the jerk is normal, I have a 2018 gtr and thought it was jerky to put into gear, but just got it inspected by Mercedes, at least nothing is wrong with the motor mounts.

no my issue is when i put the car in reverse and if hold the brake half way or try to use the gas pedal while the car is in reverse mode it starts to jerk
I have a 2017 GTS and have gotten jerks a few times over last 3 years when playing a bit with gas peddle. Crappy shifts on my part. Reverse is however always smooth regardless of gas or not and never any "hop" in any circumstances over 20,000 miles of driving. Could be simply a transmission quirk, sadly. Have to say my car is running superbly

When the car is cold it doesn't do it but when the tranny temp reaches to around 180F to 195F then it starts took it to two different dealers they telling me nothing is wrong with the car
