I recently purchased a 2019 AMG GT63 in a private sale and took it to my local dealership to have it fully inspected and serviced. The dealership says that I need to replace the front and back brakes for a total cost of $7300. Should I consider getting my vehicle serviced elsewhere or should I only service at authorized MB dealerships? I understand the annual maintenance costs associated with the model that I purchased but thought the price seemed extremely high. And advice is appreciated. Thanks.

A good quality independent should surely be as good, but cheaper. Would be a case of finding a really good one though..

Welcome to the forum by the way. Would be good if you could fill out your profile when you get time. Enjoy the amazing car.

That does seem a bit overpriced. Front rotors are about 2K/set, rear about 800.00/set. Pads about 600.00
Say two hours labour per axle…

now if you have the carbon fiber….price goes way up.
