Hello All
Wondering if you could help. My Mercedes Benz C Class- purchased from new is just coming up to 2 years old, Reminder for service 25 days ago so booked with dealer due in 6 days. This morning a brake pad wear warning light came on. The vehicle has only done 15,100 miles. It is driven like Miss Daisy compared to some of the cars I have previously owned in the past.

I have previously owned these cars, all the cars apart from the Renault have been driven the same. Very little motorway driving.

Volvo S40 MK 2 from new - 46,000 miles before pad change.
Volvo S40 Mk 1 from new - 43,000 miles before pad change.
Renault 5 Turbo - 2nd hand and thrashed as it should be and the pads lasted 27,000 miles between various services.
Citroen Xantia - 2nd hand 31,000 miles

Without any doubt I have driven the MB I have now so sensibly but it has the worst brake pad wear rate. Is this common for a MB?
