Hi everyone, first post here.

I just got my 2017 G63 and I absolutely love it. Such a special car. I am coming from a 2015 Escalade so its a nice downgrade (in terms of size) and upgrade (in terms of everything else). I was actually on the wait list for the 2019 but just couldn't wait so I gave up my allocation.

I have one question that is boggling my mind. How the [email protected]%# do I adjust the sound settings?! In the Escalade (heck even in my 06 Hummer I had before the Escalade) I could get pretty intricate with the sound (i.e. bass, treble, whether it was in the center, forward or aft). But I cannot for the life of me seem to find this setting on my G63.

I did somehow dig very, very deep into the settings and did see something called "Sound Settings", but when I click it, it says "Function Currently Unavailable".

Now, I know I did not buy a $180,000 car with Harmon/Kardon speakers that cannot be adjusted.... right?

Hopefully someone can help! PS, any G-class owners in the Toronto area?!

I can't recall how I found it the other day on my wife's G63, but it is somewhere in there in the sound settings section. I found the bass, treble, balance, fader, etc. so they are in there somewhere. I didn't play with it much since I was driving, but I know the adjustments are there. I also saw surround mode, and wonder if maybe if you are in a certain preset mode it doesn't let you adjust the sound settings? I know that isn't much help, but I'll try and dig into it later today if I have time.

press media

pull knob down toward 6pm to pull up all the options (top and bottom)

scroll far bottom right to the tone looking thing/control (looks like a music note graphic)

that pulls up the harmon kardon menu where you can do the fader (front/back/left/right) and a bass/mid/treble adjuster

I am going from memory here as I am not in the same country as mine but that is where it was. I found I needed to move the bass down four and the treble up four and left everything else untouched (well, kept something lit up that was in the seat headrests which also improved things).
