Mercedes 1 & 2 :grin
Lewis led from the start and won, Valtteri from ninth to second place phenomenal!!! Kimi third albeit he seemed out of his league during the post race interviews, anyway, that's Kimi :grin
Half way through the season and Seb leads the F1 championship by only one point. Let's see where we are after the Hungarian GP.

Lewis drove flawlessly, great race for Ricciardo as well + Bottas.
The Hungaroring favors shorter wheel base cars, and might be an advantage for Ferrari. Also, the superb Red Bull chassis should do well.
I think the Red Bull with same spec power unit as Mercedes or Ferrari would bring tears to their eyes :grin

It was a great race. Nice work by Bottas to get into P2 even if it was due the "Red" cars blowing left front tires.
Speaking of tires, aving the super soft last over 30 laps on some cars has backed up a lot of what the press and fans
have been saying. Pirelli did bring a more durable tire for 2017. Is it perhaps too durable? Wihout rain we are going
going to see more one stop races this year, thus limiting teams' stratgies.

Toro Rosso is going to have to do something with Danny boy. I can't believe all he got was a stop and go penalty.

This circuit's corners should suit the Mercedes car's set up better than Ferrari's!
It's all going to be down to qualifying, and who gets off the line first for the race.
Poor old Fernando will probably retire with engine failure around lap 35 :devil
Let's hope he can get a seat with a more competitive car, or if McLaren use Merc engines next year????

It is just a shame that Alonso has basically wasted 2 years in his prime with the whole Honda fiasco. Honda even failed him at the Indy 500.
McLaren would be fools not to just payout the Honda contract to drop Honda and buy engines from anybody that has a good power unit for sale for the next season.
If Ron Dennis was still in charge the Honda fiasco would already be over with. Zac Brown is impressing me less and less every race.
