After comparing several SUVs, I like GLK350 most. I am interest in basic 2015 GLK350 model with no packages. The best price from dealers is $35684, MSRP $38825. Compared with other shared prices in autopriceshare, it seems have some room in this price. The dealer also recommends a 4 years prepaid maintenance plan to me, $2000. I am not sure about this price and want to get some suggestions from you.
1. around 9% off MSRP, is it a fair price? 2. What is the maintenance fee for GLK350? Should I pay $2000 for the 4 years prepaid maintenance plan? Thanks in advance

cost of vehicle and cost of maint plan is up to the dealer. If that vehicle is not a high demands vehicle in the dealers area than you could get it cheaper. if its in high demand than you wont get a major deal due to someone will pay their asking price for that vehicle.

maint plan is up to you. ask them to break down their service prices for you. trans is not due til 70k so that's not included in the 4yr plan. there are several packages. does it include wiper blades? our A services cost around $240ish. B services cost $450ish. wipers are $50 or so a set. of course every dealer will have different prices.

Any dealer that offers any vehicle, maint. plan is doing it to allow the dealership to make money on the sale. They aren't going to offer you anything that they will lose money doing. If you like the vehicle, then buy it. I don't think that the dealer is going to get fat selling you the GLK at that price unless they are getting a huge spiff back from MBUSA in a sales contest. I would pass on the prepaid maint. plan. Again, this is just my opinion.

Make sure you'll be happy with a "base" vehicle. All the Germans are famous for putting everything nice other than the seats in an option package. These posts thrive on people who buy a lightly loaded vehicle and then go through huge expenses and many contortions trying to add features later they discover they can't live without. This car should sell at a big discount because it's a "base" configuration.
