I have been looking for the location of the auxiliary battery
in my 2015 glk250 bluetec , to replace it. I do know it is NOT in the
same location as the glk350 . I have looked under the front
passenger floor , in the rear storage (trunk )area , under the hood
, I suspect it is under the passenger seat , can some one help ?

I took the time today to revisit the rear cargo area ,
removed all the trim panels , R & L rear wheel hump covers ,
center storage tray , R battery cover where there is no
battery , L jack tray , and a center panel over the dif.
I'm down to bare metal and no where else to go and no aux
battery . Next I removed the front pass. seat and removed the
heat/ ac tube , under that is more wires but no place for a battery .
Thanks for the reply , I will stress, the glk350 gas and the glk diesel
are very different . Because of the DEF tank in the trunk floor .

Start/stop allegedly isn’t available on the US 250, so no aux battery.

Did you find the auxiliary battery location for GLK250? Appreciate if you can share the findings. Thx

Hi it is located under driver side Dash really hard to see. You have to remove the lower panel to get to it. I took to the dealership and they allow me to take a picture
Thank you so much. It’s little difficult to pull it down and replace as it’s very tight area. I did struggle to put it back and attach the bolt . All ended well. Thanks again.

Awesome! Thank-you! I got the side panel off, but I could not see the battery. I will keep digging in. Appreciate the advice.
yes I finally found the auxiliary battery , after removing every panel in the 2015 glk250 bluetec awd .I-know i'm
late , but this will be helpful for future ax battery miners . first the battery # you need and can buy only @ M B .
N000000004039 , a small battery and not badly priced @ $47 plus tax .
It is in semi plain sight @ the base of the driver side A pillar . With the door open take the triangular cover @ the
end of the dash panel and a rectangular hole will be exposed . Look forward into the opening and the batteryis right there . NOW there is one light gray bolt near the opening , remove the bolt and the elusive battery is loose and ready to be removed . There are 2 electric connections R + B and. fuse also connected for spmething ???? The under dash panel will have to be dropped down , because one hand will need to hold the battery to unplug the 2 wires .
I cut a little strip of the left side of the opening off to make the opening a tad larger . When installing the new battery in its bracket , the wires can be connected when the battery is loosely in place . All this is a ass pain but will save
a large amount of $$$$ . Thanks to the reply that finally knew where the A X battery is .A lot of bitchin , scratches
tool throwing , but well worth the effort and learning experience . HAVE FUN .
