I have a 2013 GL450 with about 7K miles on it. I am getting the "Check Coolant Level See Operator's Manual" message each morning when the temperature is cold out (less than freezing). I can clear the message by hitting the OK button.
When I pop the hood BEFORE starting the car in the morning, the coolant level looks fine to me in the expansion reservoir.
Does this indicate a problem? Should I top off the coolant and if so with what?
