Hi all,
Bought a 2012 C300 a couple weeks ago with ~80k miles on it. Everything on it seems flawless, but the first turnover of the engine is somewhat slow when I turn the car on. Doesn't matter if it's the first start of the day and the car is ''cold'' (coldest weather I've started it in was about 60 F), it sounds the same. The first crank is slow, then the rest of the turnover of the engine is nice and quick like I'm used to until it starts, which doesn't take long.
The ''slow'' turnover isn't slow to the point it seems like the car isn't going to start, I just don't want it to get worse.
The only time anything else has happened is when I got back from work yesterday, shut the car off, turned the car back on and the turnover was very sluggish until it started. I heard the radiator fan running for a few seconds after I shut the car off, then started the car about 5 seconds after that shut off, so I'm thinking the battery might not have been able to provide enough voltage at that point for a really solid start. Tried starting it again right after that and it was normal again.
Thoughts? I haven't gotten the battery tested yet, but I will over the weekend.
