hello. i hope someone can give me some insights

im getting a code of 1071 or p0412 secondary air valve 1 has an electrical fault. where do i locate this valve and how can i test it?

My experience has always been to start with the vacuum lines first. Your car is now 11 years old, and the rubber bits can start to get crumbly.
