The Rally starts immediately after the Alzheimer's "WALK". Once the Walkers have left, the cars start up and begin our rally.

I am managing the MB enthusiast portion of this rally only.

We had only 3 Mercedes Benz's last year including a really cool 1950's car. Let's get more MB's this time!

My mom just passed away this past away this week with Alzheimer's and this is a GREAT way to show off your cars and contribute to a GREAT cause!

Frank,
Very sorry to hear about your mom. I hope your rally goes well, it's a very worthy cause. (Sadly an 7000 mile round trip for me, or else I'd be there!)

Regards and Best Wishes
Steve

My sincere condolences Frank, I wish you and your family all the best my friend.

It would be nearly impossible for me to be in Charlotte on the 12th, the baby is expected to be due here in just a few weeks.

Hi Frank, sorry to hear about your mom. Alzheimer's takes it's toll on the family too.

The wife and I had a great time last year and hope to make this year.
Having some problems with the car. Stalling and hesitation. If I get it solved you can count us in.

Russ - Look up my profile and track it back to my stalling, hesitation problems. Are you getting any warning lights lighting up? Weird warning lights lighting up for no reason (such as SRS light turning on when I use windshield wipers), or such as, ABS/ASR light going on for no reason while driving straight --- turned out to be an indication of faulty, and loose electrical harness.

I was convinced I Had a fuel delivery problem but it was all originating back to faulty harnesses both at the ignition switch, and computer control compartment.

Tightened up the brass female sockets (females get loose after a while ... bad Albert joke) and all is now well.

Yes Indeed Russ it was a beautiful autumn day. Sunny Carolina skies and we got to drive through 60 miles of beautiful countryside and play poker all at the same time!

Ken - Congratulations on being a father. No wonder I haven't heard from you - you have been busy!

Thanks Frank, as you know a lot has changed since I saw you in June.

BTW: Anthony ' crash2468 ' from Sanford with the 91 500SL recently purchased a 95 SL500.

I believe Azmi ' elbeik ' is considering another visit to NC perhaps as early as spring for our 2012 NC R129 meeting.

Frank,
I am sorry about your Mom. :(

Close friend, has also Alzheimer's.
She doesn't recognize her kids it is sad.

If I was a little closer, I would come.

Albert.

PS,
Like Frank/Albert said.
You guys better keep an eye on females.
They have a habit to stray/get lose. ;)

Regards,
aam.

Frank - No warning lights or strange things happening, all is fine except hesitation & stalling.
Bringing it in to the indi today.

Good Luck Russ. Mine took about 7 weeks to sort out. Would love to see anyone else from Carolinas. We had a cool 1950s restored MB last year, forget the model, but it had some $7,000 of interior wood trim alone! You get to see beautiful cars there.
My wife is coming with me this time.
