hi, kal tire was telling me that my ML (along with most mercedes and audis) have an indirect tpms system that is located in the hub, hence I do not need sensors in the wheels. does this make sense or?!

If you live in the usa, all mercedes benz sold as of MY 2008 have sensors in the wheels. The 2010 ML should even display the tire pressures in the cluster. The 2006 ML had a tire pressure loss warning system that monitored the wheel speeds and when one of them slowed down it assumed that it was low on air. They no longer use this system in the USA as it is not very accurate and it does not meet the federal requirements for tire pressure monitoring systems.

well good news i guess

the canadian spec ones (at least my 2010) still have the system in the wheel hub assembly versus on each tire, so I did not have to buy another set of tpms.
