I have a 2008 E 350 with sport package... driving to work today I made a left turn and heard a rubbing noise coming from the driver front wheel. Got home and look and found that I have two different size tires.. 245-40-18 and 265-35-18. So after look around found out that the 245's are the front ones. But I have two different size wheels.. Which one suppose to go where?

245-40-18 on the 18x 8.5 wheel and the 265-35-18 on the 18x9.0 wheel? or vice versa....please help do to need to replace one of the TPMS and take advantage to get this right:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:crybaby2:

08E350 Sport options have 245x40x18 (8.5x18) front, 265x35x18 (9x18) rear.
It's in your owner manual. The rims & tires CAN NOT rotate as normal non staggered rims. TMP have to be the same frequency as other TPM rims, wrong TPM frequency can cause an error. Hope this info will help.

agree

I was really interested in an w211 RWD sport because I liked the 7-spd. Opted to go with AWD because 1) I live in PA and 2) you can't rotate the tires on the RWD sport model because of the different rim sizes.
