Hi there, this is my first Mrec with a small problem, none of the parking sensors work (front or rear) they don't buzz or vibrate but the internal lights come on and then go off when I turn on the ignition

One of your sensors will be faulty most likely from water entering it. A pro level scanner will identify the bad sensor in live date.

Thanks for that, i'm waiting on a MB iCarsoft scanner coming from OZ so maybe that will find it
I used a Mb icarsoft scanner for a few weeks. In my opinion they are not very good in live data section. Doesn't read all the control modules. I use launch, you can do just about anything you want to with it plus some you never think you'll need to. Doesn't cost much more and can do more than just Mercedes with it.

Just my opinion

Agree: but I did use one on a 07 ML63 and it did access most modules very well. Not so good on the W163.

Oh. I never used it on a Ml63. I used it on my W163 and a 06 r350. To me I could do just as much as with a generic scan tool. Lol maybe I I used it on the wrong models. But I sure do love my current tool. Allows key programming new ecu coding adaptations correction programming every part of live data you can imagine.. I was just wanting to tell my experience with it though.
