I have a c230 2006. I need to replace the bulb of the right side headlight. I was able to remove the cover. But it is freaking difficult to remove the bulb itself. Is there a trick to it?

The metal ring twists to let the bulb come out.

It's a bit tight in there, it took me a half hour and a lot of frustration the first time I changed these bulbs... then I figured it out and I can do it in two minutes now. twisting and pulling is the answer.

Yeah, I started to take those rings apart!
