First of all, I am shocked that on an E55, I got over 50k miles ( including 4 hrs track time) on the original equipment. But now it is time for new stuff, so....
I see lots of cool slotted and drilled rotors on EBAY at $$$$$. I plan on going to Porterfield for the new pads but wanted to know what people have tried for rotors.
I recall on my old 380sec that the rotor was a nightmare as it was the bearing carrier as well. Is it the same on the E55? ( I have not looked at it closely yet)
Anyway--what rotors have people tried and where did you get them?
PS--on my old 380, I could burn thru a set of OEM pads in only 10k miles!!!
