I'm curious, do you live in a state where there is a lockdown, meaning you aren't supposed to go anywhere? Where I live, people are only supposed to go out if buying groceries, unless your work is considered "essential". These cars need to get out at least once a week or the battery in the trunk is going to suffer. I take this one out once or twice a week, ebven if only for a 20-minute drive. Certainly hope our world returns to normal, soon -at least the normal we used to [email protected] Be safe everyone!
Just a thought, you may want to keep the top up for a while. It was also recommended to use the recirculation for climate control. Anyone on the highway ahead of you can cough, sneeze, spit, etc in traffic. I sure hope this pandemic ends sooner than later. 😐
I believe that this virus is eventually going to be contracted by everyone. It does not seem to die in hot weather like influenza, and some countries who thought that had flattened and dropped the "curve" are now having a resurgence in cases. I am not afraid of the virus. I would absolutely hate to lose one single person to it. My fear is that we will keep trying to "social distance" to the point that there is nothing left of our economy and very bad things will happen (civil war, anarchy, hostile government takeovers, etc.). So in the meantime, on the few chances I get now to enjoy my SL, Ill ride with the roof open.
Wife and I have been social distance cruising one day each week in the SL65. We just love this car so much, if it got good gas mileage and was reliable we would sell all of our other cars and drive it exclusively.
