MERCEDES VITO 111 CDI 2004

My Mercedes vito prop-shaft is now startn too vibrate at 1500-2500rpm at low speeds and am told it need replaced but the cost will be £350+vat plus fitting, My query is can this be repaired by a specialist, its actually the joint that has split (forget the name).

I think its called a hardy-splicer joint, should be repairable.
Had one repaired in an old transit years ago, wouldnt imagine that they've changed much.
