Hey everybody, I need some help here. I recently went to a performance shop where I ordered some TSW Catalunya rims.

18.8
5 x112
I cant recall the offset.

TSW said that these rims would fit the car with no problems, but would not fit the 500clk because they had larger breaks.

When we got the rims in we had a problem where the backs fit just fine, but the fronts done because the center cap on wheel. The performance shop is going to order a set of 5mm spacers for the front. They said that there would be no problems with them what so ever and they only use H&R's.

1. Can or will the spacers cause any problems?

If they do, I will just get rim of the rims and get something different. I dont want any problems.

Any recommendations here??
TIA

I am thinking of putting 18s on my CLK, would I need spacers?

I have stock 16s on now and love the smooth ride, will I lose that by going with bigger rims? Should I settle for 17s.

I did the +1 configuration (17 inch) for my CLK320 and all OK. Ride did not suffer at all.

Larger rim and tires will labor the underpinning of the car, suspensions, tie rods, etc.
