I would start with doing a wheel alignment and balance and get them to check it all out while their under there. Could be as simple as a wheel weight falling off.

I have a 2003 ML350 with a shaking steering wheel at speeds of 35-75 mph. Is this a ball joint issue? Vehicle has 100,000 miles an started around 96,000.
