Nice job. If my ABC system gives me problems I will diagnose it before making a decision.... no questions asked. There are so many issues with the system that can be addressed by sweat equity and some parts that are not expensive. My biggest concern is not so much having to keep the fluid and filter clean and the system exercised but the failure of a hose while on the road.

Have been exploring purchasing some old lines on Ebay and having a hydraulic shop build new ones using the old as a template. I think, but am not sure yet, that the metal fittings on the ends of the lines are reused when making new ones. Will have to research this more.

Best of luck with the coil over. Saw a few that have been converted on YouTube and apparently they are functional and no complaints.

There is a really nice, comfy, quiet, powerful car out there where you wont have to remove an ABC system....Cadillac DTS or DeVille from like 2008 vintage......Kareeem Pufffff ride and you can pick up old chicks at the nursing home:devil:x:devil

On my 230 I always carried 2 litres of fluid, it paid off when one of the stupid alli washers failed on the valve block, at least I got the car the 20 miles home by topping up 10 times.
I feel for you on this one. I read this post on my cell while in the middle of a all day trip taking my Wife to some business appointments in my CL....It made me picture a guy with a modified IV fluid system pouring Pentosin from the drivers seat while driving, the IV dripping the suspension plasma into the tandem pump reservoir.....:laugh
