i have been searching the fue filter on my car based on the position shown on other blogs but cant find it. I was able to find the fuel pump which is in the fuel tank below the rear left passenger seat. Does this car have another filter afer the pum?? and would anyone know where it is before i get charged $700 dollars

The fuel pump is in the tank on one side and filter in the tank on the other side just lift the rear seat and you will see both covering plates.

But, of course if your 2003 E320 is a sedan, it's a W211. Wagons that year were still W210s.

Nevertheless you should have the Mercedes service DVD for your car, as these things don't replace like they do on chevies. Must replace (not reuse) hose clamps, for example.
