Malfunction indicator came on on dash saying "coolant visit workshop", engine was not overheating everything seemed fine, plenty of coolant.
After a few days, malfunction came on again. After some research I found out that it could be cooling fan issue. Pulled electrical connector on cooling fan and found connector inside had completly melted off. Has anybody had any similar problem? I previously have had the "no cabin heat issue" faulty coolant valve #30 (manually bypassed waiting for part out of Germany)

My fan burned up, melted the wires to..same error messages on the display to.
I found a Mercedes shop that fixed it for me for $800 total... The shop quoted me $1400.
This is a known problem and the mechanic has seen this before on the 2003 E500's.
