We've been getting a noise from the rear of the car and the dealer found it to be the anti sway bar bushings. Is this something I can replace easily myself (couple hours work)? If anyone could send me some instructions on how to do this, I would greatly appreciate it! I think the dealer quoted something like $500 to fix the bushings that appear to be $20 on autohausaz.com (part 2023520065)?
Again, thank you for any help you can provide!

yup..they are even cheaper at the dealer i believe...i got mine there...its more like 1 hour worth of work...and thats stretching it.
Its pretty straight forward...just raise your car, preferably on both sides...two bolts on each side release the bushing, pop new one in and you are all set...
I can send you pdf on tuesday if you want to wait...but really its a no brainer

RE: Rear knocking noise on C320

It was actually something to do with the upper shock mount I think. The last visit to the dealer they could see something hanging out from the springs? I guess they're covered up with a plastic shield or something. I think he said it was a bad mount that broke apart & fell inside of the spring housing so when the suspension collapsed from a speed bump, etc., it would strum the spring like a pick on a guitar spring.
Hasn't made the noise since!

if thats a spring pad, you can remove the bolts that holds the shock and the control arm, remove the spring, remove the pad and replace with new one. just remember that there are different size pads.
