Absolutely, lower away. I love the way my car looks lowered. I got the Eibachs installed in LA for $330. It lowered it about 1", the H&R's lower it another 1/4". Don't go lower with cup kits or coil overs unless you never use your trunk much or carry people in the back seat and go over bumps larger than an ant because it will rub, specially with larger wheels. Also consider a spacer for the back wheel, gives it a nicer stance. I did 10mm and it looks perfect to me.
