Another thought is the charcoal leather seems dry to me. Is it okay to use lexol leather condtioner? Is charcoal leather a special kind of leather-- it seems more heavy duty than regular leather.

Lexol should be fine. Use the clener first and they apply the leather conditioner. If the leather feels dry, apply a very thin coast of conditioner without saturating it but repeat the procedure in a week. The idea is to let the leather absorb the conditioner gradually and too much of it in one application will do more harm than good.

Thank you, I'm getting the car after they detail it and I hope the guys doing the detail know half as much as you!
