My 2002 C240 will start cycling through faults on the display. It says faulty display SOS, SRS, some Electric bolt looking thing sometimes bad battery and a few others. It also turns the high beam blue light on and other random lights on the display. It has even turned on my windshield wipers and honked my horn. Then it will stick on SRS. I have replaced the instrument cluster, Unhooked the telleaide, replaced the steering control module. Every time I have reset the codes and then drove the car. usually the next morning but a couple of times it has taken days, but then it will start cycling the codes and finally stick on SRS. My next step is the Front Sam, and then maybe the SRS module. Any one ever encounter this?

Everything you detail recommend a computer diagnostics check, followed with the correcting resulting codes and pertinent action. Updated/upgraded software should be easy to find by the dealer, and cost for this should be zero.

Then is time of checking the system work, and fix it if/as needed.
